FSD Academy specialise in using football as a platform for re-engagement in all areas of life. Founded by Matthew Piper, former Leicester City player and current BBC radio commentator and supported by Emile Heskey, former Leicester City and England player, our Alternative Provision for Y7 to Y11 provides a unique mix of sport, education and life skills. FSD Academy is a ‘family’ environment where politeness, respect and positive thinking lead our core values.

We pride ourselves in offering a programme with enough structure for progress and enough flexibility to ensure engagement and connection. We usually welcome students from 1 to 3 days per week. The FSD Academy Alternative Provision is founded upon the success of our further education programme and environment, which having ran since 2017 has some impressive highlights.
